"I wanted the AI itself to give me the answers and explain the themes of AI, DNA, democracy, nature and how can this theme be expressed with the help of photography? And at the same time, I wanted to draw in the Sami indigenous perspective as the project "Buot leat du birra - It's all around you" is inspired by my Sami cultural heritage."

AI willingly answered the question: How can AI, democracy and nature be expressed with the help of photography from a Sami artist?

DNA and photography: Through photography, it is possible to convey the Sami people's cultural identity by capturing scenes that reflect their unique heritage. And use DNA as a metaphorical element in the photography. This visual juxtaposition may represent the deep connection between genetics and culture. As well as highlighting the intersection between traditional knowledge and cutting-edge photography by visualizing the process of AI analysis on the DNA sequences.

"This is a short version of the text for AI, you can read all the answers a little further down the page.
- My analysis of the answers is that the AI answered the question well and gives a complementary answer that I hope can be experienced in the picture series. The background for the project was to draw in the intangible cultural heritage from my Sami background, as well as let my connection to the Arctic North, the light, the dark and the seasons influence the photo project. I illuminated nature with LED lights and built light installations out in the landscape, I wanted to tell something about the resources that lie on several levels in nature."

I wanted the AI itself to give me the answers and explain the themes of AI, DNA, democracy, nature and how can this theme be expressed with the help of photography? And at the same time, I wanted to draw in the Sami indigenous perspective as the project "Buot leat du birra-It's all around you" is inspired by my Sami cultural heritage. AI and photography: Combining the themes of AI, DNA, democracy and nature in the photographic work of a Sami artist can be a complex but powerful endeavour. By creatively intertwining these themes, a Sami artist can create thought-provoking and visually engaging photographs that raise awareness and promote a deeper understanding of these interconnectedness and their culture.

Democracy and photography: The photographer can use his artistic work as a Sami leader and activist who advocates for the rights of indigenous people and emphasizes the importance of democracy to preserve their cultural heritage. And document to preserve Sami language, art and culture. Collaborate with AI to create digital artworks that blend Sami artistic motifs with modern elements, symbolizing the resilience of indigenous cultures.

Nature and photography: Using the natural landscape as a canvas for artistic expression, and mixing the beauty of the wilderness with Sami cultural elements. To use the Sami's deep knowledge of nature to highlight the importance of preserving and respecting the environment. And give attention to sustainable practices and conservation work.
