Preus museum is located at Karljohansvern in Horten. The Museet has access to a guest harbour and less than 300 meters away you have a public bathing place, Vollen. The Museum has a giftshop and a Cafe. It is customed for disabled people. Persons accompanying will get a free entrance if they show their permit.

BY CAR VIA E18
From the north: E18 to Rv310 Horten. Turn left onto Rv310 towards Karljohansvern, which lies 500m before Horten centre. The remainder of the route is signposted.
From the south: E18 to Rv310 Horten. Turn left onto Rv310 towards Karljohansvern, which lies 500m before Horten centre. The remainder of the route is signposted.
There is a large car park at the museums.
Drive E6 to Moss, then take the Ferry across the fjord.
BY FERRY ACROSS THE FJORD
A ferry goes between Moss and Horten every 30 minutes in the daytime. See the homepage: Bastø Fosen
Ferry/car: Turn left from the quay. Follow the signs to Karljohansvern (3 minutes).
Ferry/on foot: Turn left from the quay. Follow the signs to Karljohansvern. It takes roughly 15 minutes to walk to the museum.
Alt. 1: Train to Holmestrand station, then bus to Horten centre/Train to Skoppum station, then bus or taxi to Horten centre. It is advisable to check bus time table in advance. Follow the signs to Karljohansvern (10 minutes).
